Alyssa Mount

Speech Pathologist

Alyssa is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with a Masters in Speech Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the United States. Prior to her move to Australia, Alyssa worked in schools, supporting clients aged 3 years to young adults with a variety of communication disorders. During her Masters program, she also gained experience working with adults with neurogenic communication disorders in an outpatient hospital setting. She is passionate about working with clients across the entire lifespan and helping them find their voice and communicate with more ease. Alyssa uses a strengths-based approach to therapy, prioritises building a strong rapport with clients, and targets goals within functional meaningful activities.   

In her free time, Alyssa enjoys being outdoors, hiking, travelling, exploring Melbourne, and reading.
