Occupational Therapists help people of all ages overcome challenges to improve their ability to perform daily tasks.

Our team identifies barriers, builds skills, and maximises participation to help clients reach their full potential. Support may include emotional, cognitive, physical, sensory and motor skills through evidence-based strategies.

Occupational Therapy Assessments

Our Occupational Therapists complete a range of assessments to better understand an individual’s strengths, challenges, and functional needs in everyday activities.

Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA)
Evaluation of a person’s ability to participate in everyday activities at home, school, work, and in the community. Often completed for NDIS planning and support recommendations.

Sensory Processing Assessment
Assesses how an individual processes and responds to sensory input such as sound, touch, movement, and visual information.

Executive Function Assessment
Evaluates skills related to planning, organisation, task initiation, working memory, and time management.

Fine Motor Skills Assessment
Assesses hand strength, coordination, and control required for tasks such as writing, drawing, cutting, and manipulating small objects.

Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Assessment
Evaluates independence with everyday tasks such as dressing, grooming, eating, and personal care.

School Readiness Assessment
Assesses developmental skills needed for successful participation in school, including attention, regulation, following instructions, and fine motor skills.

Emotional Regulation Assessment
Explores how an individual manages emotions, stress, and frustration across different environments.

Environmental Assessment (Home or School)
Evaluates the physical environment and recommends adaptations or supports to improve participation and independence.

Mental Health Occupational Therapy

Mental Health Occupational Therapists support people to build practical skills, routines, and strategies that help them manage mental health challenges and participate more fully in everyday life. Using a strength-based, person-centred approach, we help individuals identify what matters to them and help them move toward their goals in supportive ways.

We can support clients with:

  • Managing Anxiety, Depression, or Emotional Regulation

  • Developing Routines and Structure to Support Daily Life

  • Improving Social Skills and Relationships

  • Developing Executive Functioning Skills (like Planning, Time Management and Organisation)

  • Creating Strategies to cope with Overwhelm, Burnout or Stress

  • Eating Disorders

Medicare rebates available with a referral from a GP for a Mental Health Care Plan or an Eating Disorders Treatment Plan.
