Speech Pathologist | Clinical Lead
Laura is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with a Masters in Speech Pathology from the University of Melbourne. She has experience working in education, disability, public health, private practice and language teaching in Australia, the UK and Spain. Laura's clinical work spans numerous domains of Speech Pathology, and she has cultivated special interests in gender-affirming voice therapy and the linguistic mechanics of social communication.
Laura works with clients across the lifespan, providing adaptive communication therapy that embraces individual differences, empowers clients in their connections with others, and aligns with their lives (not the other way around!).
As Speech Pathology Team Lead at The Social Domain, Laura is committed to supporting the ongoing development of team members, indirectly promoting positive outcomes for all clients accessing the clinic.
Laura speaks advanced Italian and Spanish and enjoys working with clients and families of all cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Outside of work, Laura performs around Melbourne as a musician.
